Hardly anything worthwhile to bid on. The jewelry is so overpriced, it is not even funny – you can buy the exact same items at the Helen Brett Gift and Jewelry shows for $5.00.

Auction Fees are worse than ridiculous. I supposed the annual shipping subscription is ok if you plan on buying a lot of items (i.e., cheap junk).

Won 5,000 bid pack and the auction fee was 300 – so, that one will remain unpaid.

That being said, if you want to win something and don’t care what it is or getting value for your money, then this is the place to do it. Probably 25-30 % of the items either sell for .01 or not at all.

WARNING…WARNING…WARNING…..Stay away from Ibid2save auction site. I used “Buy it Now” and won auctions for 13 (unlucky number) $20.00 gift cards for a total of $260.00 worth. I NEVER GOT A SINGLE GIFT CARD….They won’t return phone calls or respond to my emails. Each card was PAID FOR. They simply ripped me off.

Stay away from Ibid2Save. It isn’t worth your time or money; not a fair “penny auction”. I assumed it was very similar to DealDash or Quibids…boy was I mistaken. Total rip off…sorry I didn’t find this website before I invested a single PENNY!!! Customer Service isn’t helpful at all. No such luck getting a refund; they just tell you how great their site is & what wonderful bargains you get! My Loss…..Don’t be fooled by this site…read, read, read!

I got 500 promo bids and I used it for $200 Visa Gift Card. I spent 487 bids and I won. So I paid $91.58 for this auction which $69.xx, $20 and $1.99 are for auction price, auction fee and shipping fee respectively.

One day after I won and made a payment, I got a call from customer support telling me that I can’t get my $200 Visa gift card because at the time I won, there was an error on the system that some of other bidders’ auto bid did not finish yet and it is the error. They need to put the auction back for bidding again at the point where it was left and they will give me 200 bids for compensation. I felt very bad and cheated. I don’t want 200 bids, what I want is what I won.

I felt like they don’t want to let me win becasue I used the promo bids instead of the cash bids and I felt like the auction price is not high enough, so they told me this way so that they can put this again for auction to get higher amount.

I can’t accept this at all.

If you want, you may go to other sites which may not give you free bids, but they are more honest.

P.S. I said they should honor this auction because it’s the system fault, not my fault. They kept telling me about the terms and conditions which I knew that all contents were written to protect the benefits of their company which mostly is not fair for customers.

I am not new to penny auctions and have had bad experiences before on other sites but I am glad I gave ibid2save a shot! I like the fact that you do not need to buy bids to participate and I have been able to win with the free ones they give out. The toolbar gives free bids regularly which is pretty awesome since I never heard of any other sites doing this. Most sites I have been on in the past do not have very large gift cards or auctions like that but ibid2save has $500 gift cards pretty regularly and have even put up legit Arcade game machines. Not my thing personally but its definitely cool to think about bidding on. I did have one instance where I needed to contact customer support and they did a great job helping me and were very nice to me. I recommend ibid2save to anyone looking for a fair, honest and fun place to bid.

If you want to save money-just go buy what you want. ibid2Save has a business model that will keep them from losing anything, but they can’t keep going if they don’t have customers. They are still going, but they have lost many. I closed my account long ago, due to jumpers, high auction/shipping fees, and the fact that I found it ridiculous that it took hundreds of bids to win a $20 GC for $19.50. When they found out how popular gift cards were they cut them back. One GC per hour made the price go ridiculously high, so high that with the ending price and fees one could easily spend more than the card was worth. I think they prefer running merchandise more so they can pad the retail price and they pad it more than any place I’ve seen. If you got in at the very beginning, and got the prime membership cheap, a person might have gotten a few bargains. But once they got going winnings got smaller and the cost larger. Personally I think they seem just plain greedy!

This place is a joke, most of the items they auction off are way overpriced, “PEOPLE”….before you bid on one of there auctions take it to Amazon, there you will see that you can get it for cheaper, look around. The auction fee they add is mind blowing, then if that is not enough they add a shipping fee…..ibid2save the name says it all…….NOT!!!!!

This site is awful, if you pay attention and do you research on products being sold, your auction fee is 90% of the cost of them item. This is very miss leading. It looks and sounds good untill i started looking at the price of the products online only to find out that you are not saving any money. Bid candy is a much better site with no auction fees.

I recently opened an account on this site, about two weeks, and so far I wish I didn’t. Unfortunately my money is stuck in it until I blow it because I do not think I will be buying any of the items on sale, and yes, I said “buying”. This is not an auction, it is the sale of a bunch of bids with some “cheap” items attached to them. Here are some issues I have with the site: they offer cheap items that nobody wants, they add a bunch of bids (hundreds even thousands)to the items and add this to the price, they charge like a 10 percent fee when you win and this includes the price of all those unwanted bids. Overall, when you win an auction (even for a penny) you pay full price or a little more at market value for the item and get bunch of bids to lock you in the site. One thing for sure on this site is you’ll never run out of bids.
I believe if the company remove all those excessive bids from the items, add some more expensive products and either drop or cut back on that auction fee, the popularity of the site would grow. People visit auction sites to bid on items they want and pay only what they bid, not bid for a chance to pay.

Very happy. This site gives so many ways to get Free bids. Very easy to win. There is an auction fee, but overall it does not matter as there is so much value through ibid2save. Used to bid on other sites, now ibid is my home for good!

I have been bidding for years, and so happy that finally there is a site out there that is looking out for the consumer. They dont force you to buy bids to participate, and give you a toolbar that gives you free bids all the time for FREE! They have tons of gift cards that you can use your bids as well. Yes they have an auction fee when you win, but its only 10% which is fair considering how generous they are with giving away bids. I have won tons at ibid2SAVE, and track everything through their statistics page. So cool, they actually want you to see how well you do on the site. If your looking for a home for bidding, ibid2SAVE is the place to be hands down.

Pricing is a Joke, they add a bunch of promo bids to every item, just to raise the price of the auction fee, so that you pay for the item anyways but get a bunch of “free” bids to keep buying crap. WORST PENNY AUCTION SITE ON THE WEB!

Please disregard my first post. I was thinking about a different site. Yes the 10% auction fee is crazy! It wouldn’t be that bad if they didn’t add promo bids to push up the price. Shipping is too high unless you buy the membership. It’s insane!

Nice site with not too many bidders. The only thing I do not like is there are not very many auctions available and they are all typically ending late at night. Overall I have had a good experience so far.

This used to be one of my favorite sites. Prices sky rocketed tripled but you have a statistic page now lol Who cares I would rather have fair prices. Takes hundreds of bids to win a 20 dollar gift card w/ 75 bids but add it all up and your paying way to much and losing money. The shipping prices are outrageous you can buy it a lot cheaper than what the shipping charges are.

I have won several products at Ibid2save, but I haven’t paid for them due to the fact that the products are cheaper way cheaper at amazon. The auction fee is so high that no one in their right mind would pay that amount of money. People are basically paying the full price for products that could be found cheaper at retail or online stores.

I have changed my opinion of this auction site since they revamped their policy on auction fees. Instead of the $3.99/$4.99 they used to charge, they are now charging 10% of the value of the item as the auction fee. For merchandise they auction, the MSRP is over-inflated – i.e., silicone wine stoppers they list for $39.99 – I buy them in a local wine shop for $3.95. So I’m done with them. They’ve taken PENNY auction to a whole new level which is too expensive for me. Nice while it lasted.

Overall, this is one of my favorite sites. The shipping is prompt. There are a couple of things I think could be improved. The $3.99 service charge is way too high, especially when winning promo bids. I think the bid limits should be expanded since promo bids make up a large part of their offerings. I don’t bid on the merchandise because the shipping and handling is ridiculous. With a few changes, this would be one of the best auction sites.
