Stay away from this site. They got out of shipping thousands in wins to everybody, I would say that is very crooked. And they think they can just reopen as if nothing happened? I don’t think so!

Love penny prize,great customer service,great prizes! It just seams there’s always 4 or 5 that win the best prizes.They have limits on most auctions and it helps,as for as orange and blue auctions you don’t have much of a chance. So play and be very careful. You can’t beat their customer service,will work with you as much as possible!

PennyPrizes has a great looking auction site..easily navigated, and the timers seem to function well..and they have some some great business ideas, such as free bid auctions and some nice promotions. I have not won on the site yet..but I will. As an auction bidder , I look for sites with great customer service …reputable site owners who follow through with what they promise. I believe PennyPrizes to be trustworthy.

I have always seen honest bidders and the bid specials are awesome to stock up on. They consistently run the everyone wins special and the last blind auction that I was on was fun. Took away 1 star for the website look since I think there is still room for improvement there.

I love Penny Prizes because they’ve upheld their exceptional customer service to this day and will continue I’m fairly certain. Once most of the scores were in a few months ago and they earned a good ranking, some sites seemed to relax their standards, makes me wonder if they were just putting on a show for the ratings. WOW I can’t believe I haven’t posted a review yet. I’ve been on PennyPrizes site for about 6 months and I’ve won a ton. It is by far one of my favorite sites and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My one thought of advice is to watch awhile and try to get to know the players. Some are hard core regulars that will not lose. My suggestion is to claim an auction with no bids and defend. No one toes gets steped on that way. Good Luck.

I love this site for the variety of updated items offered… along with the variety of auctions, like NO EARLY BIRDS which means nobody can tag the auction from days before it was posted but have to wait until it actually starts, to start your bidding… They also have auctions for sweepstakes monthly, so if you win an auction for 25 entries to that sweepstakes your chances are better to winning that sweepstakes (this month is an ipad2)! They also have different colored medals, for example the green is for beginners who have won less than 5 so this way everybody has a chance to win! I’ve won a 25 bid pack for only .03!!!! I haven’t won anything else yet because I’m in the process of saving my bids for something nice! So can’t say much about anything else but gave a 5 star rating on all ratings above, since I have nothing BAD to say up to now… except can’t wait to play AGAIN! I love PennyPrizes b/c of the flexibility and fun things they do almost daily. Want to buy a MacBook Pro for your son’s bday? Simply awesome. It would be hard to find the level of customer service offered here anywhere else in the industry. They have set the standard. Great product, a tiered win limit to give more people the chance to win higher end products and shipping times have improved tremendously where you hardly wait for your product to arrive. They are honest, are always willing to listen to issues/concerns/successes and have the best interests of the bidder in mind. Just a great site. The only thing that is a drawback for me is the loading time of the site, which is ok. All in all, it does not hamper the experience – as every other aspect is top notch.

This is the top of the line penny auction websites. i really love this one for the modern feel and the amazing prizes and items that they offer. bids are fairly cheap for the price and they ship very fast for the amount of revenue that they must do. i got two wins on this site using just 7 bids and winning 100$ in gift cards. i think you could say this site is a winwin!

Excellent site, might be in the top 2 or 3 for customer service, they have lots of items nightly, which puts them in a class only a few others are in. Ive always gotten gift certs emailed to me, and its very quick, couple days at most usually. Winning can be tough, but its suppose to be. Just do a little watching before you jump in, so you know what is best at the time. A+ site where ive won lots of stuff, the top bidders are there for a reason, casue its a great site.

There is not a bad thing I can say about this site. I just joined the site not too long ago and love every aspect about it. The best thing about the site are the win limits, they allow all users (new and vets) to win products at great prices. I will say there is some strategy involved if you look into the win limits and see some of the big hitters winning. I can’t really say much about the customer service as I have only won one auction so far and am waiting for my product. Another great thing about the site is the bid pack deals they constantly, and I mean constantly, offer. They run all sorts of different promotions for all bidders to buy bid packs and get extra bids, now that’s free stuff if you happen to win some auctions with these “house” bids. I have seen no sign of bots or shill bidders on this site. 10 out of 10 and my favorite PA site by far.

I really enjoy bidding on this site. They have excellent customer service, reasonable shipping times, and less competition than the big auction sites out there. Plus, with all of the promotions they have, its easy to get free bids on a regular basis.

I tried PennyPrizes a few weeks back and used PAC bids purchased to bet on a couple items, I ended up winning a $25.00 walmart card and received iy fairly quickly, even as a beginner tho it took all the bids I had to win the 1 item. Like most sites no real high dollar items set out for beginner auctions. Also do not care for placement of login button as it’s too easy to hit on iPad when trying to select other auctions thus logging you out.. Hope to try again on the site soon.

Pennyprizes is a great site. They have good support and have alot of great auctions. I would like to see more gas cards. They really help.

This is a really fun site. I especially like the way they have the auctions graded with medals where the pricier products are limited to 1 win each bidder every 28 days. Price of bids are very reasonable especially with all the specials that are offered. The only thing I would list as a “con” rather than a “pro” is the cost of shipping charges.

Started using this site a couple days after seeing the promotion on ESPN. I understand how penny auctions work and was pleasantly surprised when I won an itunes gift card with my 16 free bids. I haven’t received the item yet but it has only been 2 days. Once I receive it I’ll definitely buy more bids and see if my luck can keep going. So far I’ve had a great experience.

I LOVE this site. This site is a tie for my favorite site, with pennyauction.com. What makes this site really great, are three things…the customer service is usually very fast and top notch, cant really ask for more from a penny auction site. Try emailing the big guys like quibids about your site problems and see the form letter canned responses you get. Second is the selection and quality of the items they auction off. All excellent items, apple products, gift cards, etc. They even let you trade in items for gift cards, gift cards for other brands of gift cards, or trade in for bidpacks if you want. Cant beat that with a stick. The last thing is the bidpack promotions they do all the time. Wicked awesome there, they do all different types of promotions with their bidpack purchases, and the trick is to pay close attention to when the heavy hitters hit thier gold win limits, and then use your bids that you’ve been stocking up on.
Of course with any great site, there are negatives. The first and most important, if your new to the penny auction world, you will NOT want to use this site, by any means. Although they do have “beginner auctions”, I always see powerbidders bidding on these beginner auctions. Even though they arent beginners, they’re new to the site, so thats how they’re able to bid on those. Thats the biggest drawback of the site, all the powerbidders basically scare all the normal bidders away, they’re extremely greedy, and they dont care that they already have 7 ipads in thier closet, they always want the only one available on the site that your bidding on, they could care less that you havent won one, or that winning ipads for 11 cents will put the site out of buisness. So thats a big negative there. The only other negative and almost all others share this concern, is thier extremely long shipping time, which in thier ads states 7-21 days, yes I said 3 weeks, thats just to ship out the door, add another week in shipping time, and your looking at about 1 month by the time you receive your item. I will say one thing in thier defense, Ive won 1 actual item, that wasnt a bidpack, and received it after about 5 days, however I traded it in for a gift card which was emailed to me, so that doesnt really count I suppose. Im eyeing an upcoming apple item, so we’ll see how thier shipping time is on that if I win. Ill post an update here if its quick. One thing I dont like about this review site, is they dont have “shipping time” as an option up top on thier star reviews. Which is silly. Overall, I highly receommend pennyprizes to anyone whos been in penny auctions more then a month or two and has a couple dozen wins under thier belt, and knows who the whos who is of the PA world.

I do like this site. I like the items they have. The shipping can be a bit expensive especially on bid packs. I absolutely love Maries customer service personality. The bidding can get a bit crazy but what pa site isn’t that way sometimes? The shipping in comparison to other sites can be a bit slow but not bad. And when shipping is asked for it is taken care of very quickly.

The items they offer are great and the bid pricing is fine. They are constantly trying to level the playing field for all skill types of bidders so that everyone can win. I’ve won a few auctions myself and have been satisfied. The only drawback for me is the shipping time. It took quite a while to get what I won, even after contacting them. Yet, at least they actually do ship out won items and are trying to create an fair environment for their customers.

Pennyprizes is probably my favorite PA site. They have many auctions everyday. They often have terrific bid specials. Customer service is top notch and delivery is fast. I can’t say enough about this site.

This is a great site. There is some stiff competition bidding but I have won on this site. The customer service is excellent with a very quick response time to any queries.

Site has been having tech problems lately, with site being down for hours at a time. However, they do communicate with the customer base, and let us know what is going on. They try very hard to please the customer.

What a rarity for a great site to keep striving to be better! I hope to spend more time on Penny Prizes from here out. They are always open to suggestions, and working on new ideas, promotions, and fun extras to keep the site interesting. As they grow, they try to add more auctions and go out of their way to make each and every customer happy. I’m afraid they may spoil everyone, setting the bar quite high! Bid’s are reasonable, and promotions plentiful. The site looks and runs great. I’ve only had 2 wins so far, but both nice ones. I’ve been needing a new watch, and bet on the 3 or 4?(pic. shows 3, descriptions says 4) moonstone watches. Now that one was tooooo easy. With my bet in, I sat anxiously with my finger poised over the bid button, watching the clock tick down. Closer, closer, would a last second bidder challenge me? Ended. LOL Holding my breath for nothing. I really wanted those watches and was prepared to battle, but didn’t have to. I hope some other auctions helped make up for that very brief auction. Usually I’m in the ones making up for the one that went cheap! In my records I see they have shipped and should be sitting in my mailbox now, in my cold, cold mailbox, out in the wind. I really want to see but it’s not exactly close…

I played here with my free bids to try it out. I won a $10 starbucks gift card. When I went to pay for the shipping and auction price, it said the transaction needed to be more than $2. I thought about it and didn’t want to go through the whole process of contacting them etc… I bought more bids and was going to try to get another item. Well I never did that and all of a sudden the gift card shows up in the mail yesterday. I thought that was unreal! Thanks!

This site has a lot of potential. I use to consider this sort of a beginners site but i wouldnt say that anymore. This sites popularity as grown tremendously. Ive never used customer support but ive never heard of any complaints. The website has a good layout and its pretty simple to use.

This site is amazing, they offer a wide variety of auction items, especially the mystery auctions, you never know what you are getting it leaves you in suspense. I have won several items, and received them shortly thereafter, great customer service. If you have a question or send an email, Marie always makes it personal she is great. I enjoy bidding here and I’m sure other who stumble across it will too. The setup is easy to use and I like the variety of auctions that are offered. Depending on the time of day you may just get a great deal or you may have to really try a little bit harder but it is possible if you watch and learn the style of this site. This site offers a couple of the best customer service people in the industry. Steve and Marie are top notch. They offer a variety of specials including an occasional late night auction and free bid promotions. Their product offering should meet the interest of any penny auction bidder. When you do win, the items are received in a very timely manner.

One of the best sites out there. They are in my personal top three. Tremendous customer support with Marie doing an excellent job. This site gives you an excellent chance of winning whether you’re starting out as a beginner or an experienced bidder, this is one fun site to bid on.

Their bid specials and bid giveaways are second to none. They also add special auctions from time to time which is awesome in my book. You may need some patience with the bigger items, but the the rewards are great.

Like any great site, there are some negatives, but not too many. Their mystery auctions are extremely difficult to win. Also the current version graphics can use some more work. Finally, while I don’t do it myself, bidding at the last second is not an option. Once it ends, it ends. Deal with it.

This site is amazing. Has been running for a while and are still great. Whenever they have a big weekend with a lot of auctions sold they will probably not put up any auctions for a day or two. This means they are shipping all of the auctions they just sold! Thats something every bidder likes to hear. Another amazing thing is if you win an auction and you change your mind about it, you can switch it for bids at no cost OR you can switch it for a gift card of the monetary value! Another bonus for this amazing site. Pricing is fair, nothing over the top and also shipping prices are fair. A lot of recognizable bidders too.
