I’ve found another great site, RockDawg.com, a reserve penny auction site, great selection of items, bid prices are comparable with other sites, one really important factor now a days is shipping, RockDawg has it going on, great customer service, great, super fast shipping, which if you are on any of the forums now a days shipping is a big key factor as I said above!! I am Brand to RockDawg.com is the best autction site that I used. I won my very first time!! They had recently changed their policy on how many wins/day . i won an item on my very first try, talk about luck. i received the item three days later and was very happy wth the customer service.

Rockdawg got 5 stars on all counts from me! Every time I write to them, they right away, answer me… the website is simple graphic, user friendly, EASY to navigate! They use to have timer auctions mixed with reserve auctions (?) not sure the name to give it, on Rocdawg they call it unleashed auctions, it’s when bidders get to a hidden price that it’s set to close at and bidder that bids at that amount will make that bidder the winner! I won for .87 an Ipod 4gen 8g Touch! Only using maybe aprox 20 bids! Now they don’t use much timer auctions anymore but it’s still fun playing these hidden price items, which could go on for days but if you’re patient could snag a good deal!

Fun site with possibly the most prompt customer support out there. It is a crap shoot trying to guess which reserve auction might hit but similar to buying a scratch off.Sometimes you can get a great deal with a little luck.

When I first joined, Diane was running timer auctions and some DTTs. Now she is mostly running DTTs which are fairly priced. You can win a card with a couple of bids. Diane goes above and beyond to keep us coming back! This is one of the honest sites around. Shipping is extremely fast!

Do yourself a favor and checkout this site!! RockDawg has great auctions that are open to bid on 24 hours a day! They also offer “nailbiter” auctions as well. You can still get a bargain here! It is not ruled by powerbidders. It is just a really nice undiscovered gem in the PA world! The BEST aspect of this site is the awesome customer service! They treat their bidders like family! Very considerate and lightening fast delivery! What else could you ask for in a PA site?

RockDawg is quickly becoming one of my favorite sites. I’m a huge fan of the random reserve auctions, and RD has some of the best. Their CS is top notch, offering swaps on their gift cards. Shipping has always been very, very fast. Can’t beat the selection. All around just an A+ site, for sure.

RockDawg is not your typical PA site…You have to love a site full of puppies. I like sites that donate a portion of their proceeds to charity and RD contributes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The variety of items offered is much better than just gift cards and same ol, same ol electronics. The Unleashed auctions are my favorite! I compare the Unleashed auctions to guessing the exact number of jellybeans in the jar, and you win the jar of jellybeans. Best time to bid is on One Win Wednesday. Definitely recommend!

The first thing I noticed about Rockdawg was the same 6 or 7 people were on all the auctions. The best thing about Rockdawg is the customer service person that responded to my email (I think her name was Diane, sorry if that’s not right but you know who you are). There are several power bidders on this sight so if you have only a few bids, wait and stock up when there are sales. The best day to bid on this sight is Wednesday because there is a limit of one auction. Good luck all.

Site look and design is a nice change and different so that’s good. Dont seem to have timer lags that I can tell so a good thing. Just wish they have more reg. auctions and during the day as I just cant seem to get in on too many yet as keep missing them so will try few more hands & see if I have any luck.

This sites is different there is only one other site like this one and it is speedy finger. This site has a lot of wait until the price is hit and then you win the item. The layout is very unique it has bones for the clicker instead of the tradition bid button. I would recommend this site if your a beginning and you want to snag a quick deal out of the blue this site is for you. If you into tradition bidding i wouldn’t recommend this site.

Looks like they have alot of good reviews!! I did have a few questions that were answered very quickly so thats a great start.

I’m only marking Support half way because I have not dwelt with them yet so I can’t give an honest opinion. I have won a few items and I’ve received one of them already (GiftCard), the other items have yet to arrive. Everyone says fast shipping but I’ve only gotten one item so far and it’s been awhile. There are a lot of these unleashed auctions and they do go off pretty reasonable. Watch out for lurkers ready to steal your auction away from you. Happened a few times when I waited and watched and thought I might be alone. Put out those bids and BAM there was the lurker waiting to pounce… But that is the FUN in going after these things. You just don’t know if someone is waiting there or not. It’s kinda like the DOG CATCHER waiting to snatch you right up…. LOL
Good site to play on – lots of REAL people playing I see on other sites so I know its a legit place to bounce around. Hoping for some more good deals soon. I’m stickin around!

RockDawg has quickly become one of my favorite PA sites in a short amount of time. The site itself is sort of bland from a look perspective but I’ve won my fair share of deals so it doesn’t bother me too much. The customer support is top notch and usually handles any and all issues that arise in a swift manner. The site also offers a variety of unleashed auctions which can be very addicting so be careful. RD also has a good variety of auctions so everyone should be able to find something they want whether it be giftcards, electronics, or other household items. Worth a try if you have not signed up yet….

This site is ok. I’m not a huge fan of the lowest unique bid auctions. Seems too much like a raffle to me. The site is kind of cheesy looking too. Auction photo’s are pretty bad. i did win a $15 Starbucks card with my PAC promo bids.

I was surprised someone complained about shipping prices and site design. Shipping is very reasonable, and even though I’m not a dog lover I think the “Dawg” theme is awesome. Just signed up when I bought bids through PAC, and have won 4 auctions my first 3 days on the site. Haven’t received any yet, after only 3 days I’m not worried. Haven’t gotten into the unleashed auctions too heavy yet, almost afraid to, I know I’ll really be addicted if I win one! All around great site, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Amazing site, great auctions. there customer service is friendly. For the one win Wednesday they run, they should setup your acct. so you cant bid again after winning, I had that mistake. other then that they are great.

This site is pretty good. When you sign up for the first time you get five free bids. It has a few mystery bids, and one style they called unleashed. There is no time limit on that one so you are not sure of how long you have to win or not, so it will be hard to guage for bidding purposes.

This continues to be one of the best sites out there. Constantly offering new items, fun unleashed auctions that are very reasonably priced and the best customer service there is!! Thank you Diane, you are the greatest!!!

This site is really good, but it’s pretty difficult to actually win something with the five starter bids they give you. I recommend you definitely buy bids. Their customer service is amazingly fast. However, they do have a pretty bad website layout.

I love the unleashed auctions. I have not received anything yet, but I like the quick response from customer support and the willingness to exchange a couple of items. I think the site is worth a try.

YAHOOOO! First time on Rockdawg and won with my FREE bids a small bid pack! I also had to send them a ticket, to answer a general question, within a couple of hours they answered me back. Also after the payment of auctioned item, also my bids were posted within reasonable time! I have been bidding at RockDawg for 5-6 months now, and it is my very favorite penny auction site. I LOVE the graphics, which include their cool dog mascot, and the bid bar is shaped like a bone. The site has a great selction of items, and they ship fast. The bids are reasonably priced, and the price goes down as the bag of bid bones gets larger. One of the best sites i have tried and customer service is second to none. I like the new format with the UNLEASHED auctions its great fun and everybody seems to like them.
also i like the idea that they took away the auto bidder on items under $50 means now its a lot more competive and fun not having to bid against a bid butler.

Overall this site is good however I have not won any thing as a beginner so for beginners I would say this site is not the best but for established betters it is ok. The one thing I didn’t like was the fact that all auctions were single bid only with no auto bid making it much harder to win.

Because of that RockDawg refunded ALL the bids that I used after reaching my limit for the day because I didn’t know about the limit.
